Our Mission
The Waynesville Area Heritage Cultural Center at The Friends Home, Inc., (The Museum at the Friends Home) is committed to preserving all aspects of the history and culture of Waynesville, as well as Wayne and Massie Townships of Warren County, Ohio.
Our goal is to professionally uncover and preserve the local historical record, and to record and document for future generations the continuing growth and change in Waynesville itself, as well as in all the villages and hamlets located in northeast Warren County, Ohio. We seek to preserve important material aspects of the area’s history and culture, generation by generation.
Our purpose is to provide a variety of interactive educational opportunities for the public that will make the past come alive and will help people envision the future of their local communities.
