Items in this room are from the office of the old Madden Lumber Company in Corwin, which today is the Waynesville Lumber Company, owned by the Ryan family.  Many of the ledgers go back to the 1920's and give us an idea of the cost of building material from that long-ago time.  The antique typewriter and mechanical calculators are of particular interest to children, who sometimes refer to them as "old computers".
